Ruby is a mining ghost town fifty miles southwest of Tucson and four miles north of the Mexico border. At four, two hundred feet earlier mentioned sea level, Ruby is whole of desert vegetation, selection grasses, mesquite, walnut and oak trees. But the vegetation is not why I traveled down the remote and rugged filth roadways to pay a visit to this location in the middle of nowhere.
Ruby is a person of the number of ghost cities that has not been vandalized by persons and it has been shielded for many years. The only point that has eroded this outdated town is the ecosystem and time by itself.
So this would be a ideal location to shoot in the afternoon fading mild with the Sony EX1, the Letus Severe and the Vinten Vision 3 tripod. My trouble-in-regulation and I walked the numerous acres with my equipment and shot for about 4 hours. I shot just about everything that was sitting down in great mild. Regrettably, I could not involve any photographs of the open mine that was in the hillside. I did not convey any lights with me on this journey.
I shot this film in 720 30p in overcrank method (60 frames for every second). I color graded every single shot with Magic Bullet Looks.
I employed a Nikon 16mm f2.eight fisheye, Nikon 24mm f2.eight, Nikon 50mm f1.four, Nikon 135mm f2.eight and a Nikon 300mm f4 telephoto lens. The 50mm f1.four was very useful within when capturing the piano mainly because there was very tiny readily available mild.
I am gonna view “The Hills Have Eyes” once more when I get household.
